You're running. As of right now you are a declared candidate for President — that status is real the moment you say it publicly, with zero filing. The only legal trigger ahead is money: the day you raise or spend more than $5,000, federal law gives you 15 days to file FEC Form 2. Until then, campaign away.

This does not put you on a ballot. Being a candidate and being on the ballot are two different things. Getting your name on any state's ballot is a separate process — its own signatures, fees, and deadlines in each state — and it's beyond what this tool does.
